I have listed below a good selection of the services I can provide.  When you’ve been a PA/Secretary for over 25 years, it is impossible to list all of the projects and tasks one can do, so there will be many others that I could consider helping with.  So, if there is a particular service or project that is not listed on this page, do contact me as I am very happy to discuss your requirements with you and I will let you know what can be done.  Further down the page is a selection of example projects to give you an idea of what else can be done.

Our pay-as-you-go rate is £30 per hour, which is ideal if you are looking to book us for ad-hoc assistance.  For more frequent bookings, we offer a selection of discounted retainer rates.  Alternatively, we can provide a package price for specific projects.  Discount available for charities and not-for-profit organisations.

EXAMPLE PROJECTS

  • Create health and safety procedural documentation, manuals, risk assessment reports, near hit reporting and set up new forms. All content was provided by the client
  • Proof reading business documents, correspondence, social media posts, etc., for client and their employees
  • Provide light copy-editing where necessary, giving suggestions in a separate copy for the client to accept or decline each correction. Client carried out of their own fact finding prior to task being carried out
  • Set up Etsy shop and create product listings for client. Product photography and drafted content was provided
  • Create Etsy shop banner and profile icon graphics 
  • Create social media graphics and memes for client’s new craft business
  • Set up 123-Reg hosting account for client’s new business, search and register a suitable domain name and matching e-mail address
  • Create WordPress website and link hosting account, select and set up theme, create pages, input text and image content, create external links to resource pages and social media pages
  • Set up Pinterest business account, create pins and boards for client, follow client’s associates and competitors, and interact with pinners who client follows. Regularly re-pin on client’s behalf to build-up boards
  • Set up Zazzle account, produce creative word-art graphics and apply to products for client. Share set amount of products on social media using client’s own affiliate referral links
  • Provide random story and character name ideas, random writing prompts, fiction character ideas and scenarios for client’s own source box, allowing client to use ideas if they wish
  • Be a general sound board for client and provide suggestions if necessary. Client just needed a second pair of ears as they ran through their ideas and brainstorming
  • Social media set up and management of posts and comments
  • Create social media memes using pre-designed watercolour logo/branding. Text content provided by client
  • Provide monthly presentations using same format and routine reporting using client’s chosen data source and presentation style
  • Business writing for regular internal e-mail communications to client’s employees
  • Produce CV from scratch using information from client’s LinkedIn account and their own notes
  • Take shorthand notes for employee disciplinary meetings prior, during and after the meeting, noting everything said in each conversation. Transcribe shorthand, copy type into pre-designed Word template. This was a small meeting with just a few people in attendance and the sound quality was clear
  • Produce copy-typed business strategy plan from client’s handwritten text
  • Data entry into Excel spreadsheet names and addresses of clients to be invited to a golf day. Create a mail merge in Word and link the Excel spreadsheet  and complete mail merge to enable invite letters to go out to each client listed on the spreadsheet
  • Regularly transcribe dictation of site investigation reports for subsidence insurance claims
  • Produce graph from client’s data. Provide the graph in original Excel spreadsheet and also a version on a Powerpoint slide for client to incorporate into their own slides
  • Create invoice template in Word and submit invoices to client’s customers
  • Investigate invoice queries with client’s suppliers on their behalf.  Liaise with supplier in writing and by telephone
